LOCNIFICENT 2026: ELEVATED

Where Crown, Culture & Community Meet.

Sunday, October 18, 2026 | Brooklyn, NY

Celebrate eight years of culture, creativity, and connection at NYC's premier gathering for the locs and natural hair community, and culture seekers.

Group of four people, three women and one man, posing indoors at a social venue with bar shelves and dim lighting, wearing casual and denim outfits, some with fashionable loc hairstyles and accessories.

welcome home.

Eight years ago, LOCnificent started as a backyard gathering built around one simple idea: bring people together through locs.

Since then, it has grown into one of New York City's premier celebrations of Black beauty, natural hair, creativity, entrepreneurship, and culture.

LOCnificent isn't just an event. It's a reunion. It's a creative playground. It's a space where every crown is celebrated.

Whether you're rocking locs, curls, coils, braids, fades — or simply appreciate Black culture — you belong here.

This year we invite you to experience something even greater. Welcome to LOCnificent 2026.

Every year, LOCnificent introduces a theme that captures where our community is — and where we're going.

ELEVATED represents growth. Elevated creativity. Elevated artistry. Elevated experiences. Elevated conversations. Elevated community.

This year, we're raising the standard once again — bringing together visionary artists, entrepreneurs, performers, creators, and culture-shapers for an unforgettable experience that celebrates how far we've come while inspiring what's next.
