LOCnificent 2026

LOCnificent 2026 | Celebrating 8 Years of Crow n, Culture & Community 👑
Sunday, October 18, 2026 | Brooklyn, NY. Welcome Home.

For eight years, LOCnificent has brought together hundreds of people connected by one thing: a love for Black hair, culture, and community.

More than a festival. More than a day party.

This is LOCnificent.

Join us for an unforgettable day where locs, natural hair, music, art, fashion, entrepreneurship, and community come together under one roof. Whether you've worn locs for twenty years, just started your natural journey, rock braids, curls, fades, or simply love the culture — you belong here.

This year's theme, ELEVATED, honors the heights we reach when culture, community, and crown come together. From the hair we wear to the rhythms we move to — this is what it looks like when we rise.

"Crown. Culture. Community."

Join us at LOCnificent 2026: ELEVATED

📅 MAKE IT A FULL LOCNIFICENT WEEKEND

The celebration starts before Sunday. Join us Thursday, October 15 for ELEVATED: One Crown, Many Stories — a candid panel discussion exploring the many ways Black hair is worn, defined, and experienced across the African diaspora. Cash bar and food available for purchase.

🎟️ Grab your Panel Discussion tickets here — or select a Weekend Pass at checkout to attend both events and save.

Whether this is your first LOCnificent or your eighth, we're excited to celebrate with you.

FOR THE CULTURE Day Party

FOR THE CULTURE — same block, new chapter, same BIG energy.

We’re back in Bed-Stuy at the same address, now reimagined as Hatch — a Black woman-owned space stepping into a new chapter. After a vibrant and unforteggable day party tribute to Bed-Vyne Brew last year, we’re continuing what was started — creating space for the culture, the music, and the peple!

Culture Unloc’d, LOCnificent, Traumatics, and Kulture Rehab come together again for a day party that feels familiar in all the right ways — just with a fresh backdrop.

Same block. New chapter. Same energy. Still for the culture.

Expect:

  • Happy Hour Specials: 3pm - 5pm

  • A Game Corner

  • R&B & Hip-Hop Classics, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Soca, Dancehall, Reggae

  • Music by Blufiya | Traumatics | + Guest DJs

FREE ENTRY | 21+
